We visited 3 organisation this week:
 
Women’s India Trust - Provides vocational skills to underprivileged women. We visited their Mahim & Panvel center.
Myna Mahila - Employs women from urban slums to manufacture and sell affordable sanitary pads in their community, thus improving menstrual hygiene.
Apne Aap Women - Anti-trafficking organisation that serves women and children of Kamathipura, a red light area in Mumbai

For Week 55, we spent time with the women of all 3 organisations:
Women’s India Trust - Shymalaji who runs the organisation showed us around while she was being IV’ed her medication - such is her dedication and love for her purpose. 
Myna Mahila - Maria from Myna Mahila took us through the process of manufacturing sanitary pads. Archana shared a small video with us speaking about the need for proper menstrual hygiene.
Apne Aap Women - Our volunteer Dimple interacted with the women of Red Light District of Kamathipura. They appreciated a listening ear and also loved the donut treat.
 
Courtesy Mad Over Donuts, we distributed a total of 500 donuts to these women, most of whom tasted donuts for the first time.
