It's simple. You make a one-time contribution (Eg. INR 2,600 for 26 weeks or INR 5,200 for 52 weeks) and every week INR 100 from your overall contribution will be utilized for a particular cause / act of kindness of the week. It really is simple – Contribute once. Do good every week.

We want our donors to participate beyond their monetary donations. Hence, most of our causes are experiential and participative where you get to interact with the end beneficiaries. To visit, you simply need to RSVP to the weekly event. Even subscribers may RSVP to the events.

Firstly, the fact that you want to get more involved is awesome. Nothing makes us happier than enabling you to get involved in a cause you resonate with.

To start with, you can RSVP for the event and spend time with the end beneficiaries, as well as, the individual / organization that enabled it. This will allow you to understand the entire ecosystem better and to get in touch with different stakeholders involved in the process.

Absolutely. If you know an individual or an organization doing something amazing, please write to us at contact@100aweek.in. Please send in the details stating the name of the organization and details of the cause and the need.

Also, please understand that we are a volunteer-run organization and while we will look into your recommendation, we may or may not be able to respond back to you if we have selected the cause. Each cause chosen is as per final discretion of 100aWeek.

Our goal is to discover and participate in amazing acts of kindness. Each cause we choose either uplifts or relieves a soul. These causes could be as fun as organizing a dance workshop for underprivileged children or as earnest as helping a cancer patient pay his / her chemotherapy bills.

Though our journey on 100aweek starts with a donation or a subscription, our ultimate goal is to expand your circle of compassion. Hence, we try and cover as many areas as we can – women empowerment, education, health, sanitation, animals etc. - you never know which cause or organization resonates with which donor or subscriber.

While doing this, we remain pragmatic about maximizing the impact per rupee in each cause.

As a best practice, we choose causes where we directly touch the end user such as providing books and stationery to children of an orphanage or food to a home of destitutes. This ensures transparency and tangible impact.

In cases where the benefit is indirect (e.g. Installing a computer lab in a rural school), we work with individuals and organisations that have been doing great grass root fundamental work in a specific area for a long time.

If our support is through money directly (such as medical or educational needs), then we will do much deeper due diligence to ensure transparency and maximum impact per rupee.
