Ashray provides a home-like environment for HIV positive children. Located in Bandra, it is a home for 28 young beautiful souls.

The kids had a gala time learning signature garba steps from choreographer Chaitali Soparkar. We witnessed a powerhouse of talent - Ujwala, Rehan and Riya each did solo performances to Bollywood songs, Rahul performed a breakdance while Shreya and her friends graced a classical dance. 

Some kids who were a bit shy just enjoyed watching these performances and playing with volunteers.

One of the volunteers Rushubh shares, “One of the children even came at the gate as I was leaving & dominantly asked in English- when are you coming next, Bhaiyaa!! When I said I'll try soon; he said- no, you have to come next week!! All they want is someone around with a touch of warmth, love & care and someone who they can play with. My experiences with Old Age Homes & Orphanages are so much similar irrespective of the age-group involved.”
