Chaakri is an outstanding organisation that employs rural women to make khakras, hence giving them a life of financial security and dignity. Most women at Chaakri are victims of domestic abuse or widows and come from challenging backgrounds.

This week, we are continuing our efforts with the Chaakri fundraiser that we launched in Week 50. As of Feb 21st, 2019, the campaign has raised Rs. 16.25 lacs with 234 volunteers taking a pledge to raise for the cause.
