Asha Sadan is a beautiful home for 160 abandoned and disadvantaged children. It houses children in the age group of 0-6 years and young girls from 14-20 years.

It was a beautiful meeting and spending time with Jaya ma’am. Jaya ma’am has been with Asha Sadan since 18+ years and is an absolute service warrior.  
She spoke to us about how the shelter does well in keeping the children happy and provided but admitted that they can’t be parents to all children. That gap cannot be filled. It was humbling to know the challenges Asha Sadan faces on a day to day basis.
Jaya ma’am had given us a lost of medicines, stationery, books and other key utilities that the home needed. One of our supporters Mr. Vikram Agarwal provided for all and also sponsored lunch for the children.
We then got a tour of the shelter. One of the highlights of our visit was the 40 toddlers giggling around while singing Jingle Bells and enjoying their mawa cake.
