Established in 1897, All Saints Home at Mazgaon is an all women shelter home. The institution offers shelter, food, and care to 40 female senior citizens. They are served meals 3 times a day, along with medicines and all other amenities to support and take care of them.

It’s always a great feeling when the aunties recognize us. Jenny aunty and a few others even scolded us lovingly for visiting them after a year. 

Ravishaker Iyer was magical on the guitar and Shreya Shah was soulful in her singing. They performed a lot of old retro Hindi numbers. The aunties specifically enjoyed the faster dancier ones. Asha aunty and Kusum aunty stole the show with their performances on Jab Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya and Aaja Aaja Main Hu Pyaar Tera.

After a good two hours of song and dance, we met all the aunties who couldn’t make it to the hall - those who were bedridden or unwell. One of our volunteers Vikram Agarwal had got snacks for all aunties.

The aunties did a joint prayer for all of us and left us with an abundance of blessings and good wishes. Such beautiful souls
