About the organisation

Shelter Don Bosco is a home for adolescent boys in need of care and protection such as orphans, child labourers and rescued children.

What did we do?

Each child got a white T-shirt on which they drew a design of their choice - some drew houses, some drew shapes, some wrote their name. One even drew Rajnikant.

The T-shirts were painted with acrylic paint and the kids kept them. The kids also took a short at an abstract painting and created a collective masterpiece.

The activity was followed by the children as well as volunteers scrubbing the floors of Shelter Don Bosco - what a lesson in service and humility.
